In 1960s, Myanmar Post issued several prepaid postcards.  The postcards are prepaid by meter franks of 5 Pyas or hand stamp "Postage Paid".  2nd March is commemorated as the Peasants' Day in Myanmar. In this post, I would like to share some prepaid postcards issued for the Peasants' day.

Armed Forces Day Silver Jubilee

Originally, resistance day is the day on which Burmese Army started resistance to Japanese occupation in 1945.  Resistance day is later renamed as "Armed Forces Day".  On 27 March 1970, Myanmar celebrated the 25th anniversary of Armed Forces Day.   Myanmar post issued one stamp to commemorate it.

Black color shifted error is recorded for this stamp. It leaves blue line between soldiers and inscription tablet.  A non-constant variety of a white circle over the head of the left-most soldier is also found.
