Myanmar Post run the Mobile PO to attract tourists to send mails and postcards. The trial of the project is run from 1 Oct 2016, but the actual launching date is 9 Oct 2016 (which is UPU day). According to the MPS members, the mobile PO stopped at Shwedagon East gate for half day, and later move on to the Bogyoke Aung San market (Scott market). The PO accepts ordinary mail, registered mail, EMS, sell postcards and stamps.

The cancellation used on soft launching date of 1 Oct used "YANGON G.P.O" while the actual one used "YANGON". See below covers for comparison.
